Product Description

Epro PR6424/000-100 16 mm eddy current sensor is a non-contact sensor designed for critical turbomachinery applications. These applications include steam, gas and hydro turbines, as well as equipment such as compressors, pumps and fans. The sensor is particularly suitable for measuring dynamic shaft displacement (radial and axial), position, eccentricity and speed/phase in high-speed and high-vibration environments. The non-contact measurement method can accurately measure shaft displacement, avoid physical contact, reduce wear and extend service life.

  • Non-contact measurement: Designed to accurately measure shaft displacement without physical contact, reducing wear and extending service life.
  • Sensitivity/Linearity: 4 V/mm (101.6 mV/mil), deviation ≤±1.5%, ensuring accurate readings.
  • Air Gap: The nominal air gap is approximately 2.7 mm (0.11"), providing stable operation in a wide range of machine configurations.
  • Range: Static range is ±2.0 mm (0.079"), dynamic range is 0 to 1,000μm (0 to 0.039").
  • Maximum Surface Speed: Can handle shaft speeds up to 2,500 m/s (98,425 ips), suitable for high-speed rotating equipment.
  • Shaft Diameter: Suitable for shafts ≥80 mm in diameter.
