General Electric IS220YAICS1A Safety Analog I/O Pack

GE IS220YAICS1A is an analog I/O module designed and manufactured by General Electric (GE), belonging to the Mark VIe series, for GE distributed turbine control systems. This analog I/O package (IS220YAICS1A) provides an electrical interface between one or two I/O Ethernet networks and analog I/O terminal boards. It contains a general-purpose processor board and an acquisition board dedicated to analog input functions, with visual diagnostic capabilities (displayed by indicator LEDs), can send and receive data with the controller through dual RJ-45 Ethernet connectors, output data through a DC-37 pin connector to the associated terminal board, and is powered through a three-pin connector.

Fuctions & Features

• Multiple Input Configuration: The GE IS220YAICS1A can handle up to 10 analog inputs, the first 8 inputs can be configured as ±5V or ±10V voltage inputs, or 4-20mA current loop inputs; the last 2 inputs can be configured as ±1mA or 4-20mA current inputs.

• Output Function: The GE IS220YAICS1A supports two 0-20mA current loop outputs.

• Signal Processing: The GE IS220YAICS1A analog input section includes an analog multiplexer module, multiple gain and scaling options, and a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The input signal first passes through a passive low-pass filter network with a pole of 75.15Hz, and can also sense the voltage signal feedback and calibration voltage from the analog output circuit.
