Product Description
The Bently Nevada 3500/61 (163179-02 + 133819-02) is a six-channel temperature monitoring module designed for use in the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System.
This configuration consists of the 163179-02 monitor module paired with the 133819-02 isolated I/O module, providing complete isolation between input channels, system backplane, and field devices.
The 3500/61 measures temperature using Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) and Thermocouples (TCs), converting sensor signals into engineering units for precise monitoring of machinery temperatures. Each channel continuously compares its temperature readings with user-defined Alert and Danger setpoints, triggering alarms when limits are exceeded.
Each of the six channels provides an individual 4–20 mA proportional output, allowing for external control, display, or data acquisition integration.
