Product Description

EPRO PR6424/003-010 is a non-contact eddy current displacement sensor. PR6424/003-010 directly measures the position or movement of the shaft through eddy current technology without contacting the measured surface (rotor). For sliding bearing equipment, the shaft and the bearing are isolated by an oil film, and the vibration signal will be attenuated by the oil film.

Therefore, traditional housing vibration sensors cannot effectively monitor the movement state of the shaft. PR6424 can be installed inside the bearing or through the bearing to directly measure key parameters such as shaft vibration, eccentricity, axial displacement, etc.

Function & Features

  • Non-contact measurement: The EPRO PR6424/003-010 works by using the eddy current effect, and can measure position or shaft movement without contacting the measured surface (such as the rotor).
  • Various measurement parameters: The EPRO PR6424/003-010 can be used to measure a variety of parameters such as vibration, eccentricity, thrust, differential expansion, valve position and air gaps.
  • High accuracy: When the target surface diameter is greater than 40mm, the error is negligible, which can provide data for accurate monitoring of turbomachinery, and the frequency response is wide (0-10kHz), which can convert the vibration of the rotating shaft into a 4-20 mA current signal output of the corresponding range.
